Scalp micropigmentation places thousands of tiny pigment dots in the scalp to copy the look of hair follicles, so a thinning or bald scalp reads as a full, freshly buzzed head of hair.
Each dot is placed by hand, in different sizes and shades, so the result has real depth up close and in daylight.

Soft
A natural, slightly broken edge, like hair that has grown out for a few days. The hardest to tell apart from real hair.
Defined
A crisp, clean edge, like a fresh line-up from the barber. Sharp and deliberate.
Mature
Set a little higher at the temples, the way most hairlines naturally sit with age. Often the best choice from your mid-thirties on.

How it heals.
- Day 0
Fresh and defined
Your scalp looks a little red, and the dots look sharp and slightly darker than they'll end up.
- Days 1–4
Keep it dry
Redness settles within a day or two. No washing, sweating or sun while the pigment settles.
- Days 5–10
Softening
Gentle washing again. Tiny flakes fall away and the dots soften towards their final shade.
- Weeks 4–6
Healed
The dots settle to their final, natural shade, ready for your review or your next session.
Is SMP right for you?

How long does it last?
Many years. It softens slowly over time, so most people have a top-up every few years.
Will it look natural?
Done well, yes. Dots are layered in different sizes and shades, and your hairline is designed to suit your face and age.
Do I need to shave my head?
For the full look, yes. SMP copies a close-cut head of hair, so most clients keep it buzzed. If you're having density work, you can keep your hair longer.
Can it be removed?
It's designed to last, but it can be lightened or removed with laser tattoo removal if you ever need to.
